Eight Arrows Travel

Accessibility Statement

Eight Arrows Travel is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or who need adjusted text, colour contrast and motion.

Scope of this statement

This statement applies to eightarrowstravel.com, including its trip information, search and filtering, enquiry forms and the online booking process.

Accessibility standard and conformance status

Our accessibility target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

An accessibility evaluation following the W3C WCAG-EM methodology was completed on . The evaluated pages, including the trip booking process from the trip page through to the checkout step, meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Any remaining limitations are listed below.

What was evaluated and how

  • Homepage, Cruises, All Trips (search, sorting and filters), destination, activity and trip-type directories, Travel Guides archive and articles, About Us, Contact Us (including the Customize Your Trip form) and this statement.
  • Trip pages (including trips with several departure dates), the booking dialog (date, package, extra services) and the checkout step.
  • Shared components: header and off-canvas menu, footer, cookie preferences, background video control, forms and their validation messages.

Testing combined automated checks (WAVE, browser accessibility audits) with manual keyboard-only testing, screen reader testing (NVDA 2026.2–2026.3 with Google Chrome on Windows 11), browser zoom up to 400%, mobile viewport emulation in portrait and landscape, text-spacing checks and colour-contrast measurements.

Known limitations

  • External websites opened from our links (WhatsApp, Google Maps) are outside our control. The reCAPTCHA check used on our forms is a third-party component; if it is a barrier for you, contact us by phone or email and we will take your enquiry directly.
  • The final booking confirmation and form success messages were verified in the browser without sending test bookings; if anything in those steps does not work for you, please contact us.
  • Mobile screen readers (TalkBack, VoiceOver) were not part of the evaluation; the mobile layout was tested with keyboard and desktop screen reader tools.
